Puerta del Sol is a square in Madrid (Spain). The so-called Kilometer Zero of Spanish radial roads has been located here since 1950.

The oldest building in Puerta del Sol is the Casa de Correos and it features the tower clock that was built and donated in the 19th century by José Rodríguez de Losada, and whose chimes at 12 midnight on December 31 They mark the traditional taking of the twelve grapes to the vast majority of Spaniards.
