Propeller Pin . Anti-allergic rhodium-plated steel pin .

The first applications of propellers, thousands of years ago, were wind and water mills. Nowadays, also under the names "rotor", "turbine" and "fan", propellers and devices derived from them are used for a multitude of purposes: cooling, fluid compression, electricity generation, vehicle propulsion and even for the generation of visual effects.

The inventor of the ship propeller was the Czech J. Ressel, who applied for the Austrian patent on November 28, 1826.

As evidenced by the variety of names and fields of application, there is a great variety of propellers, a variety that is especially evident in the blades, which generally have profiles similar to those of a wing, but whose shape varies according to its purpose.
