▶ Gemelolandia presents this medal better known as the Order of the Red Flag It was established by the Council of People's Commissars of Russia on September 16, 1918 during the Russian Civil War . The first recipient was Vasili Blücher , on September 28, 1918. It continued later as an award granted by the government of the USSR. The USSR established the Soviet Order of the Red Banner on August 1, 1924.

The Order of the Badge of Honor was replaced by the Order of Honor, established by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on December 28, 1985.
