The series is a comedy-drama. Ralph Hinkley is a teacher of "students with behavioral problems." One day he decides to go on a bus excursion to the desert with them. Along the way he bumps into an FBI agent in a bar with whom he has to mediate between an argument between the agent and one of his students. Then, when night comes, already in the middle of the desert, the bus breaks down and he has to leave the students alone on it and go out into the desert to look for help. Then he stumbles upon the car of FBI agent Bill Maxwell, and both are surprised by a spaceship that offers them, through a black man (a companion of Maxwell who was murdered and picked up by the aliens), a suit with special powers, which Ralph Hinkley must use to solve the world's problems.
