Sesame Street is known as a series of children's programs broadcast by the first TVE network , between 1979 and 2000. During that period it changed its name three times, becoming Espinete in 1983, Los mundos de Yupi between 1988 and 1991, and Bluki from 1996 to 2000. Although they all had the same children's tele-theater scheme, with actors (in the case of the protagonists, in costume) accompanied by puppet strips, only the first two installments were products of the Henson family; Yupi and Bluki, the last two installments were entirely national productions with independent schemes and guidelines.

Elmo is a puppet from the television show Sesame Street. He is a little red, furry puppet with staring eyes and an orange nose who is three and a half years old. His birthday is February 3 and his role in the series is to present educational events relying on his peers. His favorite color is red. He currently has an entire Sesame Street segment titled Elmo's World , in which he acts in the third person. His goldfish Dorothy accompanies him, as do Mr. Noodle and his brother and sister. His puppeteer is Kevin Clash.
