Sandy Frank's version arrived in Spain in 1980 with the title The Battle of the Planets, although it was popularly known as Comando G. Over the course of many years it enjoyed tremendous success, partly immortalized by the songs that the group Parchís dedicated to the series. Spanish television broadcast only 59 of the 85 episodes. Of those 59 episodes, 57 have been able to be rescued, but only 26 have been those that Suevia Films has put on sale on DVD.
