Lost was an American television series that aired by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) between 2004 and 2010, completing a total of six seasons. The series tells the experiences of a group of people on an island after surviving a plane crash.

It was a widespread success in the countries in which it was broadcast, reaching an average of 16.1 million viewers in the United States in its first season, and it quickly became part of American popular culture (it has been referenced in multitude of television programs, comics, songs, etc.). He also won numerous awards, including a Golden Globe and six Emmy Awards.
