Lambretta was a line of scooter produced in Milan, Italy since the late 1940s by the Innocenti company.

Along with the Vespa, this vehicle was an icon of the 50s and 60s when it was adopted in the United Kingdom by the youth culture of the mods. It is known as The eternal runner-up since it could not displace the Vespa. The Lambretta has a tubular chassis unlike the Vespa which is a monocoque pressed with steel sheets.
