Handball or handball (both terms from the German Handball) is a ball sport in which two teams face each other. Each team is made up of 7 players (6 players and 1 goalkeeper), and the team may have 7 other reserve players who can be exchanged at any time with their teammates. It is played on a rectangular field, with a goal on each side of the field and the objective of the game is to move a ball across the field using mainly the hands to try to get it into the opponent's goal, an action called a goal.
